Static Recovery of Santa Lucia Quarry – Consolidation and Safety Enhancement of a Geological Discontinuity (Landslide Events)
This project outlines a series of interventions aimed at mitigating the hydrogeological risk in the Puglia region. The works will facilitate the static recovery of the quarry’s rock faces and the safeguarding of residential areas located at the top of the hill, despite the inherent dangers of the area. Upon completion in 2021, the project returned to the citizens of Cassano delle Murge a requalified and safe public area, destined for social events.This project outlines a series of interventions aimed at mitigating the hydrogeological risk in the Puglia region.
