Geoingegneria Ambientale e Mineraria

ISSN 1121-9041

is a peer-reviewed, open access journal about the science and application of geoengineering and environmental technologies, and is published online by Patron Editore. The Department of Environment, Land, and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI at the Politecnico di Torino) and the Georesources and Environment Association (Associazione Georisorse e Ambiente – GEAM) are affiliated with Geoingegneria Ambientale e Mineraria, and their members receive a discount on the article processing charge.

Aims

Open Access

free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions

High Visibility

indexed within Scopus, and Emerging Source Citation Index (Web of Science)

Rapid Publication

manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately XXX days after submission

Recognition of Reviewers

reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication in the Geoingegneria Ambientale e Mineraria journal in appreciation of the work done.
GEAM Journal publishes regular research papers, reviews, and communications covering all aspects of geological risk and hydrogeological protection of the territory, geomatics techniques and methodologies, slope stability and protection techniques, mechanical and engineering of rocks, management of environmental resources, environmental impact assessment, geology and engineering of mineral resources and hydrocarbons, energy sources, water resources (evaluation, management and protection), excavation engineering, underground transfer of mining activities, landfills and waste treatment, environmental recovery of industrial areas, occupational safety and health.

The method / approach must be presented in detail so that the results can be reproduced. There are, in addition, three unique features of this Journal
Manuscripts regarding research proposals and research ideas are welcome
Electronic files and software regarding the full details of the calculation and experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary material
We also accept manuscripts communicating to a broader audience with regard to research projects financed with public funds

CiteScore:
2020: 3.8
CiteScore measures the average citations received per peer-reviewed document published in this title.
CiteScore values are based on citation counts in a range of four years (e.g. 2016-2019) to peer-reviewed documents (articles, reviews, conference papers, data papers and book chapters) published in the same four calendar years, divided by the number of these documents in these same four years (e.g. 2016 —19).
Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP):
2019: 1.307
SNIP measures contextual citation impact by weighting citations based on the total number of citations in a subject field.
SCImago Journal Rank (SJR)
2019: o.657
SJR is a prestige metric based on the idea that not all citations are the same. SJR uses a similar algorithm as the Google page rank; it provides a quantitative and a qualitative measure of the journal's impact.
Journal Metrics: CiteScore: 1.0 , Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP): 0.381 SCImago Journal Rank (SJR): 0.163
