All articles published gold open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. We offer authors a choice of user licenses, which define the permitted reuse of articles. We are continuously working with our author communities to select the best choice of license options, currently being defined for this journal as Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY).

Gold Open Access Publication Fee

To provide gold open access, and to cover the costs of the journal management and the hard copy printing, this journal has a publication fee which needs to be paid for papers accepted after peer review. The gold open access publication fee for this journal is EUR 300, excluding taxes.

Payment in US Dollars (USD), British Pound Sterling (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY) or Canadian Dollars (CAD) are also accepted. Note: national and private research funding organizations and universities explicitly cover APCs for articles resulting from funded research projects.
